This final season of The Shield has been excellent.  It's been fulfilling in the way you'd want from the final season of a solid series; it's been entertaining and suspenseful in the way you expect from this high-quality show; it's been epic in the way that The Sopranos final season was not.

There are two episodes left, and my feelings are divided.  I can't wait to see them, but also don't want to see the series come to its end.  If you ever liked this show but have missed this final season, you might want to pick it up on DVD when its available.
